WHO WE ARE

Cosmology and evolution, memetics and morality, infinite monkeys, and free food. These are just a few of the things you can find at a Chicago Skeptics Society meeting. Whether you're a staunch atheist, a devout theist, or like most of us, somewhere in between, we'd love to have you at our meetings. 

The University of Chicago Skeptics Society is community not only for those questioning religion, but for anyone interested in expanding their mind by examining philosophical quadry. All beliefs are respected and thoughtfully considered. In fact, we encourage those with opposing viewpoints and/or unconventional ideas to share their thoughts and ask questions. We seek to build an environment rich in constructive criticism and inquiry but free from scorn or judgement. Above all, we want to have fun talking about philosophy!
